Roslyn Street is probably one street that typifies Ashbury and the whole Californian Bungalow suburb. The eastern end of Roslyn Street was auctioned as part of the Sixth Subdivision of the Goodlet Estate in 1924. Almost a year later the western end of the street went up for sale as part of the Seventh Subdivision. Most of the houses would have been built in the mid to late 1920’s and there is a variety of le that leadlight that reflects some of the styles and influences of the period.

Roslyn Street

No 2 is a Californian Bungalow built in the mid 1920’s with leadlight in a three panel casement window and in the sidelights on either side of the front door. The design is somewhat unusual with an odd curved shape as the focus set in a geometric design.
