Leadlight apparent at

The Woodlands Estate in Ashfield Heights was originally subdivided in 1884 and has possibly the oldest house in Ashbury at No 29. There are some good examples of leadlight from the 1890’s to the late Interwar years.

Woodlands Road has some of the oldest houses in Ashbury.

Woodlands Road

No 18 is a beautiful Federation house built in 1910 with leadlight in two three panel casement windows. The design is ‘ovalate’ and extremely colourful with prominent green leaves and red flowers and lovely blue pieces at the bottom of the centre panel. It is a beautiful example of Federation leadlight.
