ASHFIELD

Curt Street

Main Period: Interwar

Leadlight apparent at No’s 3

Curt Street appears on the large subdivision of 1879. It is a small cul-de-sac.

Curt Street

No 3 is an interwar Californian Bungalow. It has the only leadlight still in existence in the street. There is a four panel casement window on the verandah and three panel casement window to the left. In the four panel casement window the panels of leadlight are longer than in the three panel casement window but only the outside panels remain.  The three panel casement window has a large square of bevelled glass in the centre surrounded by concentric circles in each panel. There is a small window with the same design on the east side.
