King Street

Main Period: Victorian -  Interwar

Leadlight apparent at No’s 1, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, & 23

King Street is a relatively short tree lined street that was first subdivided in 1876. There is just about every type of house design in King Street, from Victorian Regency, Federation, Interwar Californian bungalows and flats through to units from the 1960’s & 70’s.

No 1 is a Federation period home with really tall windows in the two panel casement and the six panel casement square bay. The leadlight is an ‘ovalate’ design is superb with beautiful flowers.
