Nicholls Avenue
Main Period: Federation
Leadlight apparent at No’s 2, 3, 6, 7, 12, 14, 16, 20 & 22
Nicholls Avenue Was part of the 5th subdivision of Stanton’s Garden Suburb and most of the houses were built after 1915 and there are some beautiful examples of late federation architecture and leadlight. As with most Federation houses the leadlight is concentrated around the front entrance. In these late Federation homes there are some interesting variations; from free flowing to very geometric and formal.
Nicholls Avenue
No 2 two is a Federation (1915) house with leadlight in the sidelights front door panel, the tops and fanlight. Very curvy and very symmetrical.
