Victoria Square

Main Period: Late Victorian - Federation

Leadlight apparent at No’s 1, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14,16,17, 21, 32 & 34

Victoria Square was designed as an ‘up-market’ residential area complete with a recreation park in the middle. The houses are substantial and there is a distinct feel of affluence. It was subdivided in its present form in 1876 and many of the buildings date from the 1890’s. There is quite a diversity in the age and architectural styles but the large recreation reserve and the abundance of trees creates a distinct feel to the precinct.

Victoria Square

No 2 is a Federation house with a great front door entrance set of the front door panel, sidelights and fanlight. They are beautiful examples of Federation leadlight.
