Leadlight apparent at No’s 4, 6, 64, 68, 78, 102, 114, 132, 136, 139, 140, 153, 155, 159, 173, 175, 177, 185, 189, 195, 197, 207, 209, 233, 235 & 277

There are now high rise units, the police station and Fire Station, Yeo Park & Amman Park, Trinity Grammar School and little Yeo Park Primary School and Yeo Park, huge mansions, classic Federation houses and Californian bungalows, the old Masonic Hospital, the huge Cardinal Freeman retirement complex including the wonderful Glentwood, Interwar flats and units from the 1960’s, 70’s, & 80’s. There are cottages and huge heritage listed mansions. In its two kilometre length, Victoria Street provides a unique heritage experience and examples of leadlight from the early 1880’s through to the post war period.

Victoria Street

No 4 is a Californian bungalow (c.1920) with leadlight in the French doors, sidelights, tops and a fanlight on the verandah. It is difficult to see in the shadow but it looks intact. The house appears to be the same design as No 6 but the leadlight is different..
