Development in Windsor Road has taken place from the mid 1880’s with the Emmaville Estate in 1885, the Blairgowrie Estate in 1886 and the Fairmount Estate also in the 1880's. As a result there are many semi-detached houses and other dwellings that were built in the late 1880’s and early 1890’s that give the street in some parts a very Victorian feel. There are quite a few early Federation houses through to Californian bungalows, some of which have quite small frontages and even smaller front yards. Most of the leadlight exists in the entrances to the Victorian era houses.

Windsor Road

No 30 is a late Victorian house (c.1888) with leadlight in in the fanlight above the front door. It appears to be a reasonably sympathetic later addition.
