Albermarle Street is typical Marrickville Street paved with bricks. Most of the houses appear to be from the Federation period when the Priddle Estate was subdivided in 1912. When first subdivided the street was Albemarle' Street.

No 10 is a Federation house (c.1913) with leadlight in the side lights tops and fan lights and probably the front door but it was open at the time.
