Leadlight apparent at No’s 2A, 1, 3, 5 & 11.
The 1920 Riverdale Estate.
Lots in Riverdale Avenue were auctioned as part of the Riverdale Estate in 1920. It is a very short street with some well maintained Californian bungalows that have retained their leadlight.
Riverdale Avenue
No 1 is a Californian bungalow (c.1922, shown as lot 49) with leadlight in a four panel casement window that is difficult to see from the street. The design swirls around the panels and has lovely subtle floral elements in each.
