Leadlight apparent at No’s 1, 3, 5A & 6.
Chapman Street is a very short street near the eastern end of Summer Hill and may have been a subdivision of some of the original lots from the Underwood Estate of 1878 when it was created just a year later in 1879 and many of the dwellings were constructed not long after this. The street still has many Victorian houses, terraces and semi-detached cottages

Chapman Street
No 1 is a modified Californian bungalow (c.1924) with leadlight in a three panel casement on the right of the house with large convex circles in the outer panel and a convex square in the centre panel. there’s also leadlight in the front door sidelights and the front door panel that also has a large convex circle. There is also leadlight in a small window on the verandah.
