A repository of photographs of leadlight in homes in the Inner Western Suburbs of Sydney.

Marrickville
Stoke Avenue
Main Period: Victorian
Leadlight apparent at No’s 1, 2, 8A, 9& 11.
Subdivision plans for Stoke Avenue have not been located but it appears that most of the houses were constructed in the middle to late Federation period. For such a short street it has retained a lot of leadlight.

A beautiful Federation house (c.1910) in Stoke Avenue.
Stoke Avenue
No 1 s a beautiful Federation house (c.1910) with leadlight in an arched two panel casement window on the left, in another on the verandah and in the front door sidelight & top and in the fanlight. The flowing and floral influence of Art Nouveau is obvious particularly in the asymmetrical fanlight.
