Myrtle Street derives its name from the Myrtle Grove subdivision of 1884 where there was a house shown as Myrtle Grove between Harriet Street and Schwebel Street.

Myrtle Street
No 20 is a Californian bungalow (c.1926) with leadlight in a two panel double hung window on the right and in a two panel double hung window on the left. The left hand window has suffered some damage.
