Day Street May 2021
Day Street was created as part of the Warren Estate subdivision of 1884. It appears that only a few houses were initially built because there are houses from the late Victorian period through to the Interwar years when Californian bungalows prevailed.

Day Street
No 2B is a Californian bungalow (c.1926) with leadlight and a three panel casement window. The design in each panel uses a large convex glass circle set in concentric circles with small opaque turquoise diamonds at the compass points. Very elegant and similar to that at No 12.
