Bland Street

Leadlight apparent at No’s 135, 136, 141, 142, 143, 147, 149, 151, 152, 153, 156, 159, 160, 161, 162, 164, 165, 166, 169, 170, 174, 176 & 178
Bland Street runs from Ashfield, across Parramatta road through to Ramsay Street. Homes were constructed in Bland Street Haberfield from 1906-1908 but most were built after this and just prior to World War 1, particularly in 1913. Most of the lots between Parramatta Road and Ramsay Street are shown on Stanton’s 3rd subdivision of the Haberfield Estate c.1907. There are a few remaining excellent examples of Federation leadlight, particularly at No’s 39, 49 & 50.
Bland Street
No 135 is a Federation house with leadlight in the sidelight & top and the fanlight above the front door.
