Subdivision plans for Porter Street have not been located but this is clearly a precinct of mainly Federation houses on the north side and Interwar houses on the southern side. There is some wonderful leadlight in Porter Avenue
Porter Avenue
No 2 is a Federation house (c.1912) with leadlight in the front door panel, sidelights and tops and in the fanlight. There is also leadlight in two x three panel casement windows. There are floral elements in each panel linked together linked together with draped flowing blue ribbons all hung from a pastel green bar. There is an unusual semicircle n the bottom of the middle panel.
