Leadlight apparent at
Some lots in Weston Street were sold as early as 1885 as part of the Emmaville Estate so it is understandable that it has the feel of an old street that is more reminiscent of the inner city with lots of small terraces and semi-detached houses. Some of the frontages are very close to the street. There are quite a few weatherboard cottages from the Federation period.
Weston Street
No 8 is an early bungalow / late Federation house (c.1920) with marvellous leadlight in a verandah enclosure. It looks wonderful! There is also leadlight in the front door and fan light that is an enthusiastic later addition.
