ASHFIELD
Holwood Avenue
Main Period: Interwar
Leadlight apparent at No’s 1,3,6,9,10,11 & 12
Most of the houses in this quiet cul-de-sac are 1920’s Inter War Californian Bungalows. It is totally understandable that Holwood Avenue, and much of the local area is regarded as a conservation area and is in fact in the Ambleside and Holwood Conservation Area.
Holwood Avenue
No 1 has a two panel casement that uses a geometric design of a bevelled glass square in a circle. It is partially obscured by screens. There is a small window with two panels with the same design.
