Leadlight apparent at No 5.
Hastings is shown as Stanley Street in the 1884 subdivision of Yule’s Estate It was still Stanley Street in 1893 on the Lilydale Nursery Estate , The Yabsley Estate of 1913, and in the Graham’s Estate of 1914. Most of the houses in the street were very modest workers cottages and they did not usually have leadlight.

No 5 is an extraordinary Victorian building with leadlight in the edge of a two panel casement window. Very unusual.
