Federal Avenue
Main Period: Federation
Leadlight apparent at No’s 11, 12, 16, 18, 20 & 24
One subdivision, on the southern side of Federal Avenue took place in 1899 just prior to Federation so it is not difficult to understand. The northern side was subdivided in 1907. Most of the leadlight in the street has a late Victorian to early Federation feel to it and is mostly confined to the front entrance.
Federal Avenue
No 11 is a Federation house with leadlight in the fanlight above the front door. Very geometric and dark but typical. There is also leadlight in the two panel double hung window on the verandah, almost Victorian in feel.
